What excites you about working with Liquid Wind?

It is exciting to be part of an innovative energy company that has a strong commitment to sustainability.

Prior to joining Liquid Wind, I was working with FundedByMe, a leading crowdfunding platform in Europe. I enjoyed supporting the Liquid Wind team in their fundraising and getting to know their exciting business concept. As my role with FundedByMe came to an end, I was thrilled to be approached by Liquid Wind to join their strong and ambitious team.

What experience do you bring to the Liquid Wind Team?

I have always taken an interest in sustainability issues and hold a Bachelor of Economics with an environmental focus. This broad understanding of how to combine business with ecological matters, is something that I enjoy using to support Liquid Wind.

My experience in sales and project management, has helped in establishing mutually beneficial partnerships with potential co-developers and international bodies.

In addition to overseeing our international expansion and public policy matters, I also assist the team in fundraising, using my experience from FundedByMe. My previous experience of working in a start-up environment, has helped me quickly settle into my new and diverse role in this fast-growing company!

What are you focusing on for 2021?

My role is exciting and varied, and for 2021 my key focus will be supporting our co-developers outside of Sweden. Liquid Wind is developing extensive knowledge in how to efficiently establish eMethanol facilities. This will be licensed to co-developers so they can develop eMethanol facilities locally. This collaborative approach will shorten the time to market for developers and together we can increase the supply of eMethanol even faster!

We are already working with two co-developers, for France and Norway. There is strong interest in our industrial franchising concept and I am looking forward to securing partners in other parts of the world.

And, of course, I will be keeping up to date with changes in legislation. Right now, there is a lot going on in the legislation to support the energy transition. The interest and importance of eFuels continues to grow, which is fantastic to see, and will be important to support the transition to carbon neutral fuel.
